Call for Nominations for the BHCOE ANSI Commission – Standard 201
Standards & Guidelines for Effective Applied Behavior Analysis Organizations
BHCOE is seeking applications for openings on its BHCOE ANSI Commission for BHCOE Standard 201: Standards & Guidelines for Effective Applied Behavior Analysis Organizations. Interested participants may submit an application below. The BHCOE Commission members will serve as the “consensus body” for the purpose of documenting consensus on the pending American National Standards (ANS) proposed by BHCOE. The BHCOE Commission is responsible for developing new or revised language for Standards & Guidelines for Effective Applied Behavior Analysis Organizations. The ten commissioners represent the following types of organizations/individuals:
- Patient Advocate or Patient Representative (2 seats)
- Trade Association / Professional Organization (1 seat)
- Private Insurance Representative (1 seat)
- Public Insurance Representative (1 seat)
- Academic from Applied Behavior Analysis (1 seat)
- Private sector organizational representative (3 seats)
- Local State ABA Chapter representative (1 seat)
All commission members review standards prior to their public commentary period, review and respond to all public commentary received by BHCOE, and vote on adoption of the standards as an American National Standard. Commissioners meet for two hours monthly, or as otherwise needed.
All commission members are publicly listed on our website with their name and affiliation to ensure transparency and balance of representation.
